Scotland Highlands

A few days in the village of Mellon Charles, Scotland, time enough to capture a small portion of land, sea and sky. Its scenic views are serene. With only the Isle of Lewis in sight, being here for too long might give you the impression that you are at the end of the earth. The sea-inlet, Loch Ewe, holds an interesting history. It is here that British and American convoys assembled Naval Defenses during World War II. The remnants of their Naval Defenses are left in the surrounding landscape just north of Aultbea in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland.
